Hey fellow reefers okay so my Green Monti cap is growing out of control and i have a really shaded area now directly under him and was wondering what type of coral could i place underneath of him that pretty much doesnt need light or very very very low light in SPS Dominate tank

Put somthing that like to eat like dendro or sun, they will add some color to a dark spot just spot feed them!

Ive heard that about sun corals being hard to get to eat so i guess i might take a look into the dendro are they as colorful as the sun and do they spot feeding as well cause the area is kinda hard to spot feed looking for something that would be able to catch foods it floats by i know I'm asking a lot just that i have a crazy work schedule and spot feeding is difficult

Dendros IMO are nicer looking than sun corals. Do a quick search on google and you can decide for yourself.

The problem I have always had with sun coral is them closing immediately when I try to spot feed. Even if I do it extremely gentle. They wont feed an eventually just die in my tank.

Dendros are much larger and much easier to feed.
