I'm thinking of moving some LR in my sump (currently has no light) so I can give my fishes more swimming space. My question is, Does LR rock need light to stay alive?
Live rock doesn't require light, but you will need to be sure to have good flow..and a filter sock is a good idea to keep detritus from collecting in/under the rock.
