I went to Petco the other day and i was checking out a coral. The man working there looked on a chart and said it was a Brain Maze Platygyra and it was $38.99.... Went back there this afternoon with $35 in petco rewards coupons i have accumulated was going to buy it.
This time i asked a different employee what type of coral it was and she had no idea. She stated she knows nothing about saltwater. She looked at the same chart as i previously mentioned and sold me the coral as a Green Digitata for $21.99...So i was able to save $17 from what i was previously told... And i also know that a Digitata is a SPS coral that branches so that def. is not it.
Anyway here is a photo of the coral, can anyone ID for me? I know it did have pretty long sweeper tentacles when i checked it out the other day. I was thinking a type of Acan??
