Do you clean your sump

Should a sump be cleaned if so what the best way to get it clean. I have no way of getting mine out from under my tank. after 4 years I think it need a little cleaning.:scratch:

That is how I use to clean mine. Haven't had to since I've been using the socks on a regular.

i use a sock and also have not much need to over all clean, i do on occasion flip the lr over. and clean the inside glass of the salt creep.

you can get a maxi jet pump just to circulate the water in your sump so theres no dead spots or detritus biuld ups

+2 I have 2 of them they are great..fills up a 5 gallon bucket in about 10 seconds though so beware lol

Reduce it down to a RO hos and it'll take much longer.
