jj, beatiful collection my friend. Welcome to your new home away from home. I tried to access your link in your first post. RC won't allow me to even look at it.

Glad you decided to join us here.

Russ

BTW, I did see the ones you and I have been talking about.
LMK when you're ready to frag.

I got banned too - and you know what I wrote?

I addressed Larry (DGNR8) directly in the thread and said you were not selling them just showing your feathers (like a good acan collector would) And Free Bump!

Now I am Banned - NO RC FOR YOU

Whatever . . .

House
WOW Jim. That is amazing that they behave like that. Is Larry (DGNR8) a LIRA member?

Banned for that? Good thing I never post there!!! Good thing MR will never go to that extreme. Funny thing, half the mods are on this thread..... :D
I never post there anymore either. The place leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I would only ever use their for sale/for trade forums to reach out to people who are beyond the MR region.

House, I am flabbergasted that you were banned from RC for that. Seems they are becoming a Nazi BB. If you don't think, breath, speak what they tell you, off to the land of banishment for you. What a shame. There was a time that I was able to get lots of helpful info from RC. If you're not a RC lounge lizard you are relegated to eternal damnation.

BTW Shaun, beautiful pix.

Pipe organ, Jonathan gave it to me to look after and bring back to health. So technically it is his still. It is AWESOME, one of my favorites.

B are you going to Jon's fragswap event, probably I could bring to a frag then.

Shaun, those are an amazing coral. I've got a tiny one too. It fell under some rocks about 7 or 8 months ago. I can't imagine it getting much, if any light. Well I saw it the other day the first time since it fell. I thought it was a goner. It looks amazing. I'd say care level is Easy with non existent requirements except good water quality. Where it fell, I still can't reach it, but I can see it when the corals in front of it (Kenya Trees) are retracted.

I agree Russ, there is a neon green and white one that I am looking for. I saw it a NYaquaria but didnt' buy it, :banghead: . It is really easy to care for and seems to love my tank by the huge increase in growth that I have seen with it.

The Care level on Pipe organ is actually very high, most don't make it. It's a very hard coral to keep and needs strong lighting and prefer moderate to strong water currents.
I guess in my case, easy is relative! Michael your probably correct, :) .

In my tank the SPS is the hard part, and I have found that if I can keep them alive and thriving everything else is easy!

8 months in hiding tells me that is at least debatable.

Russ there are a couple of corals that they sell under pipe organ. The one with the red skeleton are usually very hard to keep and most of the time they usually die. Sean, at Aquatic Creations, has one that is doing well and I got one from him that seems to be doing well, except for the part that fell into a patch of mushrooms and killed it. But for the most part they usually start to die over time and the red skeleton is usually very fragile and breaks pretty easy. Not an easy coral to keep.
