What's the best salt for your reef tank? Just picked up Tropic Marin

Tropic marine is good I use red sea coral pro but it is all preference in my opinion. Try out different ones and see what works for you best.

I was going to pick up Red sea pro but my local store didn't carry it and I didn't feel like driving 40 mins away to get it.

tropic marine is a good salt though. every one has there opinions on whats best but I just go buy what my tank likes. I am running a zeovit system so the coral pro seems to mesh well with it in my tank.

I've always used Instant Ocean myself.

I use alot of diff salts out there from instant ocean , reef crystals , esv but been using d+d h2o salt and love the results. But alot of local places don't have it..

I saw your other thread about supplements/dosing and honestly if you're planning on adding stuff to your water I would just recommend to save your money and buy good 'ol Instant Ocean Salt or possible Reef Crystals, cheapest, yet great salt.

If you still want to stick with a higher end salt, I recommend ESV. It's a little bit of a pain to mix and all because it is a 2-4 part, 2 part liquid and 2 part solid but readings are spot on
