Nj shore shrimp

Been catching alot of small shrimp at the Nj shore has any one put them in thair tank or sump/ or can they be used to feed the tank!! I was thinking of putting them in the sump!

They are almost certainly a temperate species. Your tank is too warm for them to survive long term.

There are quite a few people in the NJRC club that keep local grass shrimp in their systems. The temperature isn't as much of a concern (mid 70s) as the fact that they are cannibalistic and will kill each other and the babies eventually.
