So, lemme ask you guys. I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to silicone seals on aquariums, mainly because of the consequences if they fail. So I recently bought a brand new 28 gallon JBJ Nano Cube, and this is my second one (the first I sent back because the silicone was lifting in one of the edges). This tank appears to have a much better bead along the inside of the tank, but it looks like there are a few small areas of imperfection where some dirt may have mixed in with the silicone when it was built (kind of looks like a very small bump in the center of the bead). I guess my question is, within reason, how common is it to have some "minor" imperfections in the seals of your tank, and what is the likelihood of it causing a problem? Im going to do a leak test regardless, but any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Can you post a pic of what this 'bump' looks like?

When purchasing a new aquarium, IMO one should expect the silicone will be neat and will seal the tank properly and it should not have to be fixed to use the tank.

Thanks guys. I took a really close look at the seal, and it looks like just a minor blemish when they laid the bead down. It doesn't look like it should leak. The rest of the silicone beading is neat clean and flawless like you said.
