In Manhattan there are really only 2 --- Manhattan Aquarium and Fauna both on the West Side. If you want to travel to Brooklyn, Coral Theory is worth the trip. All 3 are vendors on this site and you can find their contact info in the vendor section of the marketplace.

I think that you should try to specify where you will be in the area so that people can chime in. NY is not the smallest place and travel on it stinks for the most part.

There are quite a few LFS's on Long Island as well. Aquarium Village in Westbury to Aqua Hut in Coram, and many in between.

Im staying in the union square area over by the irving plaza. but Im willing to travel a little if theres a nice place with some good deals.

Manhattan Aquariums is probably your best bet and the closest to you. Check them out they are great
