CPVC Pipe?

So, I have some left over CPVC pipe from when I refurbished my kitchen and was thinking of using it for making a plumbing setup for a sump on my nano tank. From what I've read The only major difference from PVC and CPVC is that CPVC is treated when it's manufactured to be able to accommodate hot potable water. Anyone here have plumbing setups using CPVC? Any thoughts?

I bought some cpvc fittings not realizing it would not fit pvc. Other than the size difference it will work.
