Protein skimmer question

Im looking to get the ASM Mini G protein skimmer for my 65G tank. I was wondering if anyone uses it and what they think about its performance?

From all u have read up alot of people recommend reef octopus over asm.....the asm is a better skimmer but the price mark up compared to the reef octopus isn't worth it if you can get a skimmer that is.almost as good and for half the price

I've heard almost nothing but bad reviews on the ASM G skimmer. I would steer clear. There are many better options out there.

I have a asm mini g on my 34g solana garbage IMO. I also have a reef octopus Sro sss love it.

i had an asm g3x.....thought it was good until i got the super reef octopus.....blows the asm away!!!!

Take a look at the Eshopps skimmers while you're at it. Not very expensive. I have the PSK 200 GEN II, and I am like it very much... In past I've had the Turboflotor Multi 1000, EuroReef RS 80, and BM 250, I like the Eshopps more then the 3 mentioned.
