I am helping a buddy with a 60 Cube build.
The tank will be the 60 Gal DB Rimless.

Which pump would you recommend for this tank? I am stuck between a Mag5 and Mag7.

Also does anyone know the inside dimensions of the stand for the tank? Need to start to figure out what size sump we can fit.

Depending on how much flow you want I would go with an either an Eheim 1260 or 1261, better pump and much quieter.

I made a the stand for my 60gal cube, and depending on how you make the stand, you can double up on the posts to make it stronger and make it higher too, the inside dim will be different. I'll have to check but I think I had 20"-21" inside the stand. Since I made the stand higher I was also able to go with a higher cube sump too.

This is the sump that I used under the stand on my 60gal cube. It's a 16" sump and it fits fine with plenty of room.

Here it is inside a Solana Tank Stand that is built for a 22" cube tank, which you can see it fits perfertly, so on a 24" cube tank you'll have some extra room. For your reference the stand in the picture dimm are: 22" x 22" x 32" (L x W x H)

The stand is on order, so I will be able to measure it when i get it. I was just trying to get a head start on it. I will look at the eheims. I am trying to keep the costs down on the setup. I will run past the actual owner to see what he wants to spend. I was also looking at the eheim.

If you want to keep the costs down instead of ordering a stand I would build one yourself, as the total cost with wood, nails and paint will probably run you less than $100. You could then use the extra savings on getting a better pump or better equipment.

was able to get a great deal on the stand. I am able to build a stand without a prob, but still trying to save where we can.

I found online that someone posted that the inside dimensions are 23x23 which makes sense. But still hard to find a stock tank to fit in there.

I did find a perfecto tank 27g. 20X18X20 which may work very nice!! I will baffle it myself so that is not an issue.

What kind of skimmer was that??

I need to find him a skimmer also.
