Swapping wet/dry for refugium help

Im swapping out my wet/dry for a refugium. I also want to take the sand out of my tank and make it bare bottom. The live rock rubble that is in the wet/dry
I do not want to use in my refugium. Is it safe to take out the sand and swap the sumps at the same time and i also want to use new sand for the refugium or should i just use the sand thats in my DT that i want out.

By the way the tank is a 90 gallon lps softie tank

You may have a spike cuz of the sand ur taking out of ur tank. You can use the sand from ut tank in the refug but i would raise it very very well.

I have my 40 and 150 bb and its great looks nice and doesn't accumulate detritus and if there is just grab a powerhead and blown it out

Yea I want to make my next bb. But, be careful with removing sand. I wouldn't do both at the same time in my opinion

Yea i think ill do them separate. What about taking out that live rock in the sump now. Would that harm anything? And what about adding new live sand to the refugium.
