Reply to message notifications

I am constantly getting emails when someone replies to a thread I have also replied to. I set it up to only receive notifications once a week yet I am still getting them daily. Is this a glitch in the system or am I doing something wrong? It is flooding my inbox.

And make sure all of the notification's listed says "Weekly"
