Icecap Ballasts

In reference to ICECAP ballasts, how does one know the approximate age of either a 175/250 watt ballast? Is there a date stamped on the unit or something? From what I've read they offer a 3 year warranty on each unit, how can you tell the age/how much of the warranty is left on the unit?

They have serial numbers. You would have to call Icecap to find out. They are generally pretty cool about warranty type stuff though especially if you tell them you are MR etc. Randy
