Was leaving my house and noticed my clowns acting funny. I took a closer look and see my clown laying a ton of eggs while the male was keeping guard. What a site! I just paired my clown a month ago. Have had my Pagoda for over 7 years alone. She most have been hot for a male! Lol.
She was laying the eggs right under my rbta. Now what happens. Do they all eventually just die? how long do the eggs stay there? Thanks in advance

Congrats!
Eggs will hatch on their own (provided they make it to that point, generally the 1st clutch is no good or weak at best).
Not sure on hatch time for your clowns, but I would guess 7-14 days.
Eggs will hatch and get filtered out or consumed by the livestock.

Is it normal for my clown to be getting ready to lay eggs again and the old eggs have not yet hatched.? Are the old eggs dead already?

Yes (sort of)
The first few clutches are weak and may not hatch. The clowns do not remove the dead eggs at first bc thy are just learning (how to do it and time frame). They will remove all dead eggs before they lay again.

Actually just happened now. Check it out. Finally able to get a shot since she laid eggs a lil closer to glass
So you are saying that they will eat the old eggs eventually?
