The only way you can legally get it is from a vet. Sucks but it's fact.

There's a thread on RC about some insect killer by Bayer that is supposed to work. Check the sps forum there.

This is a controlled substance, just like any other controlled substance. Must be obtained legally.

Whatever. No one is selling there family airlumes for interceptor. If a cop pulls you over your not going to jail for not having a prescript for interceptor. It's our hobby fellas no need to get uptight. Now if someone was selling them I can understand the site having a problem with it but someone asking shouldn't have reef members all up in arms

If you look right under the order button, there is a link describing how to get the prescription (from your vet) over to Drs F+S.

And Duke, man... :lol2:. No one is getting up in arms about anything. If I were asking for something that was illegal, I'd sure as hell want someone to tell me about it. Most people probably don't know.

And I agree, it's not like people are on the boards saying they'll sell their unborn for crack, but it's still a controlled substance.

I also mentioned an alternative in my first post. Bayer has a bug killer that is showing promise as a reef safe medicine to kill red bugs. It's also available over the counter.

I would say 4 out of 10 people with a dog has this in a draw at their house that forgot to give it to their dog and is not using it.

Just ask around.

It's not as if the people asking for that are going to sniff it... it's kind of a pain... "hey to cure your corals you need to have a dog".
