THe top one is with the loupe. (have you tried it yet?) (notice the LACK of DOF)
the bottom one was me tooling around with my elph when I got it. I think. I'm pretty sure, but I can't find the original file to pull up the data. If it's not my sd400 it's my roommates 20D with a 100mm macro lens.

I'll sort through some more pics at work. (I"ve got 15 gig or so on this hard drive. I put ALL my pics in one folder, now I just have to sort them, and cull out the crappy ones.)

My new cam is in the mail. I can't wait to get it. I'm going to the monterey aquarium next week!

i forgot what camera did you get?

my close up's were with the tamron 90 macro, I think I really need like a 180 macro. either that or a set of extension tubes.

I was there about 12 years ago. amazing place.
make sure to get some extra memory cards.

I got a 20 D with a couple of okay lenses. I'll probably swap them for L glass when I get back in NYC. I think I got a 18-55 and a 55-200. Both are 4.0 ish lenses. Good enough for most stuff but not backstage. I might just sink $$$ into a nice all around zoom. I've got usage rights on all my roomy's lenses. So I'm not buying anything till I see exatly what she's got.

I've got a 512 coming, I've got a handful of 128's. I"m probably going to buy a couple of 1gig sandisk 2's or 3's. I'm still deciding if I can justify the extra cash for the 3's.
