I have been using this pump (quiet one 3000) for about 3 months. Two weeks ago, all of a sudden it just stopped. Since it is my return pump, all of my water drained back into the sump and I had about 3 gallons of water on my floor.

It did the exact same thing today again. Twice at that!
I dissembled the pump, there was no debris stuck or anything. I am still using the pump however I am closely monitoring it. I have a mag 7 back up pump, but the piping wont fit it (so I am heading out to HD to get an attachment).
Has anyone had a similar problem with their quiet one pump.

J, drill a hole in your return at the water level to break the siphon and stop the sump from flooding.

QO's never broke on me sorry.

if it stops, it may be clog, overheat or dead.
if clog,needs cleaning
if overheat, unplug, let cool off then plug in
if dead return . i think they waranty for 3 years.
if urs needs a jumpstart, it may be need cleaning.
