And I believe the one your talking about is a toms aquatic flow meter

the one I have ranges 5gpm to I believe 40gpm. I have to go look.

the 25w uv by EA would be more than enough for this tank. their stated max flow rate for algae/bacteria is 550gph and the max flow rate for protozoa is 90gph. there are a few flow meters out there that will work in this application.

I'm thinking that I would have to get an external pump instead of having to marineland pumps in the sump
