I pulled a few of these out of a regal that I newly acquired. At first I thought they were just spines or something and I honestly didn't notice them at the store. Anyways, I don't think they're spine though, and I'm kind of worried now. Can anyone tell me what they are please!!

Is there anything I should do you think?

It has to be a gill fluke, not an anchor worm..the info on the net ..excuse me...sucks in regard to pics agreeing on which is which.

I would treat with PraziPro in a QT..you don't want these in your reef!
Marrone had an issue with them a couple of years ago and IIRC did 2 treatments of both Prazipro & copperpower to get rid of them.
Hopefully he wll be back on-line shortly to give you more info.

From the picture its doesn't look like Gill flukes. The best bet would be to give the fish a 5 - 10 min fresh water bath, make sure the Ph is correct too. You should see the gill flukes fall off at which point you can ID them. If you have Gill flukes you need to treat the fish, and if you put the fish into your DT you're going to need to treat that too.

Below is a link on how to get rid of them.
