What are your opinions on two nano tanks going into one sump tank..I have a 20 gallon with all my corals and a 8 gallon hex for dwarf seahorses..I have the bio cube skimmers on them and not really a fan and don't want to do 2 sumps so was thinking of like a 30 gallon sump with one big skimmer for both the tanks..opinions and suggestions please

I am currently doing this with my tank.

They would both need to be drilled and you would have to have a shared sump that can handle the water capacity on power off.

I personally T'ed off my return pump and have a centralized sump.

You can use valves to control water pressure so they match the individual tanks drain.

I was thinking of doing 2 separate pumps cause the dwarf seahorses can't have too much water flow..and was going to do the diy PVC overflows they are very simple to do, cheap, work, and I wouldn't need to break down to drill holes lol also that's why I would do a 30 gallon maby even a 40 more water the better and wouldn't need to worry about room with it overflowing
