LED/ Canopy

I did not think about this so far in my new build but would I need fans in my canopy even if im running LED's? For MH and T5's I had fans but will the LED's generate so much heat that I will need fans?

They will get hot when you have all 36 leds on high power ... Cuz with 24 leds i can touch them but not for long it will start to burn me you could get fans for them it will help help leds last

Well yea i no you have 36 on 1 heat sink and another on the 2ed heat sink .. So when you have all 72. Leds on high power they are going to get hot .you can put your hand on them but afer a few seconds your going to have to take your hand off the heatsink cuz you will feel its hot . Mabey 2 fans on each you could get away with 1 .and have them on top of the heatsinks blowing in to cool them

That is not what I mean. I do/will have fans on top of my heat sinks ones they are completed. Im asking about my canopy if I need fans in there to draw the heat out of the canopy.

Oooh sorry miss understood no its not necessary the leds will not draw heat whats so ever in the canopy

If it's a mostly closed canopy than I would suggest adding additional fans to remove the heated air. 1 in and 1 out would work well.

Could I put both in and out through the back or top? I dont want to cut holes in the sides.
