vodka dosing

did you automate the dosing or just valve drip?

I am using a kent doser but it needs adjusting daily.

White 5%acidity ..set up on a doser
Started with 10ml a week then slowly increased each week by 10ml till nitrates dropped then just kept it at that final dose which I believe I'm at 80ml a week for a 90gallon

I have the doser set up on a timer which doses for about an hour towards the end of my tanks light cycle which doses approximately 80ml but depending on the size if your aquarium you might need more or less

d5332, recall kres is dosing vinegar, not vodka. Your Vodka dose would be much less. Gonna o/d a 90 gal on 80ml of vodka, ....

Yea exactly I'm doing vinegar ..vodka would be a much lesser dosage ..

I've been seeing about one drop vodka per 25 gal of water volume and to double that every week until I see a drop in nitrates an phosphate lvls the to reduce that final dosage by a few drops and that is my maintainance dose is this correct
