I miss my tank. Has any one else had the same issue how do you deal with it besides getting another tank. I tried going to the lfs and just watching the fish but it just made it worse.

I agree with you rambler, going to a LFS caused me to set a system back up. I made it from April till this month without a system, the only benefit was I did have quite a bit of extra cash on hand LOL. It's like a drug you just need it!!

when my tank was going through AEFW i was REALLY close to taking down my tank but i stuck through it and defeated the buggers and SO glad i didnt shut it down. it keeps me sane.when things get tough for me i go to my den and stare at the tank and i calms me down but like others said it is alot of money to maintain but if it wasnt this hobby you would spend your money on another hobby

just had a tank catastrophe a week ago as some of you might have seen my thread... fantasy football has helped alot hehe.. and my friend gave me seasons of sons of anarchy to watch.. still wating on a resolution and i hope to start up a new tank soon.

Funny, thinking back when my father bought me my first fish tank when I was 15yrs old. 34 yrs later I still enjoy it and never did I want to separate from something that made me happy. It's part of my life and it relaxes me. I blame my wife for getting me into saltwater. I than blame Mike ny for starting me to looking into corals. "I'm addicted to SPS"...now MR and RC".."......

Just get a nano tank and call it a day. Little work and it will feed your addiction.

i got my first tank when i was a little kid, maybe 9 or 10. first saltwater tank was set up by 13. of course everything back then was wayyyyy different than the way things are done now. i took about 15 or so years off after highschool and now getting back into fold. had a 120 that got killed by storms last october and now im on hold once again.....

I haven't had a decent tank setup for a couple of years now and its freaking killing me! I have a friend that I worked with that has a 140 reef and we always talked about it and stopped at lfs and it always made me fiend even more. I set up a 20 gal but don't have money for a decent light yet so I only have a couple of damsels swimming around. I have a new job now so hopefully I can get my 125 setup soon

I feel ya, I took down a 280 gollon and basically sold all the equipment about 4 months ago due to $$$ and time. I said i was gonna get back in after the holidays, well that did'nt last long. A fellow local s.i. reefer had a 30 gallon acrylic cube laying around and well thats now cycling in my living room. Even when i was out I was always on here and looking on the marketplace. VERY addicting hobby. It's a huge differnce from the 280 but it's holding me over.

Yea I broke down my 110 . I don't think a nano would last to long I started with a 20 gallon only lasted 3 months before I upgraded.
