Questions about running carbon

• How often do you swap out the carbon?
• Is there a ratio for how much carbon per gallon to use?
• SHould the carbon be run in a power filter?

Here's a start:

Using the site's "SEARCH" function, I found this thread. In fact, there are several others.

I change my carbon every 3-4 weeks. I run 2 trays of filter bads and 2 trays of carbon in my cannister filter.

:Up_to_som That's why I pulled it out. It has great information. Many people who posted there, may not be as active. Now you get the best of both worlds.

I run about 1 cup of ESV carbon in a Phosban Reactor on my 65 gallon tank. I change it every 2-4 weeks :wink1:
