Got an itch to add an adult blueface to my tank. One gorgeous fish. I bought one before from fishtown which did not survive qt. It'll be risky for the SPS and LPS. What do you think? Should I or shouldn't I?

hmm. It has to be an adult and bigger than my regal like 4" but no bigger than that. Are you going to hand pick it like the flame hawk that I got? (BTW it is doing great) How much?

How big is your tank and what other fish do you have in the tank? Blue faces are some what shy and it does take time to get them to start to eat. There is a very good changes that it will pick on your corals as you try to get it to start eating other prepared foods.

You can actually get them with adult colors in smaller size so it maybe worth getting a smaller one. Just make sure if you do have another angel in the tank that the Blue face is larger otherwise the Blue face mayn't make it.

I have a blueface, Mascolusus (sp?), and a goldflake in my 1100 gallon reef and they are not a problem. They may nip here and there, but the tangs seem to bother the corals more.
