Return pump hum? Vibrations!

Recently upgraded

I can run either eheim 1250 or sicce psk600 pump. Both are brand new. Currently using the 1250..

I have always drilled and ran external pumps on my sump and this time I'm. not. Can anyone explain what I can use to make this pump stop giving that vibrating hum? If I shift and elevate it the vibrations are alleviated.

Once it's running it finds a sweet spot and isn't that bad but I'd like to remove as much as I can.

I have had a few suggestions but not sure what is the best answer so maybe you guys can help.

try a dab of silicone on bottom of pump in the corners should hold it steady enough and once finds sweet spot should stay that way

try putting a ziplock bag full of sand under pump....works like a charm

I have the same problem with the pump on.my euro reef skimmer had to put the skimmer on the timmer with my lights so in the night time its of

very simple, rubber tubing from pump to return

i run 2 eheim 1262's i cut 3 pieces of 3/8 tubing, laced them together with small wire ties and placed the triangle under the pump. no more vibrations. and its all plastic

Can u show us a pic edd I was wondering do u put it under the canister of skimmer also

I use 2 suction cups from my heater. Placed them under the pump and all is quiet. My skimmer is the loudest part of system.

I have pump in the sump, and soft pipe for the return.
