anyone using these stands? it would be for a dd tank. im normally not a fan of manufacturer stands, but it voids warranty of tank if not on factory stand.

i wouldn't put too much emphasis on manufacture warranty....i believe the warranty only applies to the tank and stand not the damage of the flood.
i rather have the tank on a LEVEL stand built like a brick sh*thouse than the particle board/crappy wood from the manufacturer.

btw...my 200dd sits on an over-engineered (literally built by a mechanical engineer who just happen to be a reefer also) brick sh*thouse of a stand. he did the calculation and concluded that the stand would even support the truck that delivered the tank.....lol. plus the tiles were laid specifically for the stand and tank.....so level that there is no shim under the stand at all.

I'd absolutely go with DIY too. I've never seen a pre-fab stand with the specs that satisfy me.....none. I overbuild everything.
