Temp swings

I'm having problems with my temp dropping at night. I have a 300w ehiem heater. Can I just supplement it with another one to help? Thanks. Tank is a 155

If u need more then one heater. It's ok ,,I have 4 of them on my 240

Yes. In fact, it's probably safer, since if one gets stuck on, it won't be enough to cook the entire tank.

i have the same issue!, and the heater i have is the same as urs and its so off! it goes on when it feels like it :/

So basically if I get a controller, I could just leave the heater on high and use the controller to turn it on and off?

you should have a minimum of 3 watts per gallon. it depends on how much you need to raise it above room temp. i would say two 300,s if you need 10 or 15 deg. above room temp.

I'd set the heater(s) to 85.

But yeah. You seriously need to buy this. Its really a stable in reef tanks.
