RBTA Help

So, I got a RBTA 2 weeks ago, when I got him he was attachedto a nice size rock, my tank is a 110G deep, & it?s been up and running formore than a year, I positioned the rock half way in the middle of the tank sohe can get a good amount of light, 6x54W T5 HO. For the first 2 days he did notmove but then he did move but not a lot, still on the same rock, I think hejust did not like the flow or he was hiding from the light. Now 2 days ago hedid move but a lot more this time and he split, the small one ended up in one of my power heads, now the original RBTA which is a nice size one, moved all the wayto the bottom of the tank as if he is been hiding from flow or light, since Igot him I have been feeding every 3 days, my question is, if a RBTA is well fed, he doesnot need light & there for he is in a spot where is no light at all (like acave) & if I don?t feed him then he will come out to a spot where he needslight & then I can enjoy looking at him.

FYI...

Anemones chose where they want to reside, especially BTA's.

Let it be, if your water chemistry is right it will find whatever spot it wants and be just fine.

If your chemistry is not where it needs to be, that thing may just dieeeeeee

They have a tendency to move when conditions change(light, flow, food). This can also get them to split.Keep an eye on it and stop feeding for a few days.Over feeding can cause a split as well.

Well one more important thing. I have a nice size clarkie hosting it, and I think he is just to big/agressive with him

If he is hosting ,, they are fine ,, clowns are meant to host anenomes
