Ok just got power back.

Now what?

I haven't had power since Mon in manhattan.

Have had 3 battery bubblers since mon nite. That is all. Mixing the water everytime I walked by the tank.
Temp has dropped to 67.
Right now I'm bringing it up slowly over the next few hours. I'm boiling saltwater 1 pot at a time and putting it in my sump. Had a couple airstones down there too.
Right now I'm at 71 degrees.
Planning in doing a big water change tomorrow.

Removed all casualties. Lost a few fish and a few corals.
Testing in a bit. All fish left look OK surprisingly.

You guys are awesome.
Thanx!

Lighting. Didn't even think of that.

Will test all the params.

As always change things slowly. Unless its ammonia Etc.

My tank was dropping temp pretty fast.
Took some saltwater out. Boiled it. And them put it back in the sump to mix up.
Will test salinity too. Just to make sure.

Debated on calling it a total loss.
Wow thanx guys!!
I think I may get through this with not too much loss.

Levels started lowering.
Have a 60 with 20 gal sump.
Its full so water volume is lower.

Have done 2 20 gal water Changes.
Added some prime the other day. Everything evening out.
Temp back to normal over 3 days.
Last change will be tomorrow.

Leathers melting- removed.
Zoas won't open up.
Any SPS- all white- dead.

1 fish unaccounted for still-usually hides but not for this long.

New problem is food.
All frozen food is done for.

Some of my fish won't eat pellets and flake. My go to is PE mysis. Any one know where is can get that in manhattan?

Side note: how's Manhattan Aquarium?
We're they hit hard?

Been a busy last couple of days. Did water changes for the last 3 days. All levels. Are normal. -were good!!

Went to manhattan aquariums- got a bunch of frozen food. Set for a while.

Coral- Not so hot. Lost some caps.
Zoas are mad at the world. Well see what happens with that. And pretty much all sps is gone. It's white.

Took this time to prepare for moments like this. I got a ecotech battery backup. It's attached to 1 mp10 near the top 15% of the tank.
Is that enough?
I do have 2 mp10's though.
Also got a penn-plax double air line battery backup. Supposedly lasts for 5 days on 4 D batteries.

Lesson learned.

Don't mess around with it to much. Just bring Alk up that will help your Ph. Do 10 gallon water change and leave alone for another week. Clean skimmer and let that do your work. Other than that go back to your regular routines. If you are running reactors change one and wait a few days to do other.
