Hey i recently purchased my ro/di unit but am looking for approx. 40-55 gallon drum to create the water into. I read online for both positive and negative responses about brute containers. Does anyone have any feedback on where i can purchase a drum? It would be greatly appreciated.

Ok but what am i looking for how do i know what is healthy or safe for the fish tank.

Rubbermaid BRUTE series trash cans are used widely in the hobby. The gray, white, or yellow Brutes are what you want. In the big box hardware stores around here you can almost always find the gray Brute cans and lids, as well as a nice 5-wheeled dolly that snaps onto the bottom of the Brute.
