has anyone used these bulbs in the 250 watt SE version...

im interested in something blue but not completely blue.. i was happy with the hamilton 14 k's but i wanted more par... since i have decided to go back this route i was figuring that the more par is better.. just dont no the quality of the bulb....

thankyou in advance....

also if someone may rec. some bulb that would look nice..

ive been thinking about
xm 15k - par was bad 150.. (how is this bulb anyone use them)
hamilton 14k -par was 300+ (not that bad)
aquaconnect 14k par was 350+ (pretty good)

any other rec.. thanks again...

mmike thanks for the offer....... im not sure if im headed towards the xm 15k cause ive been reading there par sucks on that bulb really bad... but if anything ill let you no.. thanks again

anyone got any info on the other bulbs...

I saw the aquaconnects on glipper69's tank and I thought it looked great. Just as you described, blue but not artificially blue. All his corals really popped. His husbandry might have something to do with it too. ;) Only thing I can't stomach yet is the $120+ price tag per bulb.

Just wondering, where can you even get an Aqua Connect bulb right now? The only ones that I have seen are on aquaristics, and they have to be pre-ordered...
