PH magnetic holders

Has anybody used these magnetic holders for PHs, including Seios, that reeferschoice lists?

My Seios are barely hanging on from the rim of the tank and I'd like to be able to more them around more. Those brackets are kind of useless and the suction cups are entirely useless. :anger2:

I'm using one right now for a Tunze. I have the SureGrip 50 on a 65g and the magnets are pretty strong. Been up for one week and no issues so far.

I'm also going to use it with my Tunze. Does it mount only on the top pivot? If so do you notice any movement of the Tunze? As far as drifting left or right.

u have to use the tunze adapter (the part that slides up and down). that adapter slots into yet another adapter that they provide. it's one of the four that they show in the pic.

haven't noticed any movement as of yet, but there shouldn't be any since we still have to use the tunze parts.

another thing worth mentioning is that the magnets have rubber/plastic nubs on them. this makes it difficult and risky to move the powerhead w/o sticking your hand in the tank.

Meaning that you can't slide them around like a cleaning magnet?

I moved the outside magnet an inch to the side, but the inside wouldn't budge. Knowing the weight of a Tunze, I wouldn't chance it falling down and crushing my little preciouses. :cyclops:
