Malanarus and a pistol

Will a malanarus eat a candy stripe pistol? I bought one last week to pair up with my yellow watchman goby but I have not seen him since.... I've seen the goby and where he is at I can't see his hole to see if the shrimp is there

I have kept that wrasse in my mixed reef with my pistol for over a year now. That doesn't mean he won't ever bother it, but he hasn't thus far. My wrasse is ~5 inch.

I have kept mines with a pistol shrimp with no problems. Only thing is that malanarus will eat your hermit crabs.

Snails might beon menu too. Very nice looking fish though, I really liked mine

That's good news then!! And I love mine as well I have him and a yellow corouse wrasse most likely not spelled right....sorry and I've seen my mal hit the nasarius snails from time to time but never my hermits

many times i don't see my pistol shrimp for weeks but i hear the snap every now and then. i don't think the melanarus would bother the pistol. the pistol shrimps can take care of themselves with their sonic boom.:tank:
