Hi i just ordered a custom nano tank with the dimensions of 16l x 16w x 12h
and i am thinking of either getting a kessil A150w ocean blue or the ai nano blue. Which one would give me the best light to support an anemone.

Hi

I have see the A150w and the AI Nano . The Wow factor on the Kessil even at 35 watts is a beast and is much brighter to the eyes then the AI nano. I was going to buy it until Premium Aquatics gave me a deal for the Razor. I would recommend the Razor to you if you can get a good deal on it if not go with the Kessil.

Before you purchase those lights, take a look at the FathomLed lights. www.fathomled.com
They are well made and researched. More affordable than AI's or Ecotech's and definitely not DIY's.

Where are you in LI? I would be more that happy to test the par 30's we carry on that tank. Just got back from Aruba and from the data we collected you may only need one over that tank. As we have replaced the viper clip ons with these bulbs. They are also dimmable
0-100%. I could measure out the par for you and pm you if you would like.

I just got back from Lowes to get the supplies I need to make a par30/38 bulb rack its pretty easy to do out of pvc the light sockets screw right in with a T.

Here is a picture I found on another forum of what I will be doing:

Great DIY idea. Get a little dimmer on there and you got one sweet set up. I have also seen sockets with hooks you can hang right off of eyelets. But T's would give you the option of aiming the light as well. Nice.
