The story:

Was changing up my rock set-up, so I turned off all filters & power heads.
While into it, I noticed hundreds of small critters swimming around. The were all fighting to the top.
To small to see what exactly they were, I then notice all my fish having a feast.
I run & grab a speciman container & snatched up as much as I could.
Looking really hard, I can now see that they are little shrimp (not mysis).
All I have in my tank now are Skunks & Peppermints.

I have over 50 of these little guys in the container.......NOW WHAT?

Anyone ever hear of this? Any chance on having them survive?
I'm sure if everything was on, they would have all been sucked up & I would have never noticed them.

Any advice or are they all doomed? :(

Dean "The Link King" :D

Thanks.
I never got to getting that pump.
I lost out when I went on vacation.

Anyhow,
This sounds like ALOT of work & patience.

House:
I'm almost positive that they are Peppermints.
Looking at these larvae, you can really see the shape.
I did notice that one of my mints had a pretty big belly a few days ago.

I'll try the air-stone & the brine / phyto, but I'm sure it won't work out.
I have them in a container & don't have any extra tanks.
I wouldn't know how to filter it out without them getting sucked up either.

Adoption anyone? :D
