woww the only place i didnt check lol. went to waldbaums, duane reade, fish town. but no more fish town. i swear they gave me tap water it smelled/tasted funny - i called them but they assured, "...44 years; we would never do that". anyway at $2/g i couldnt dump it out. thanks for the heads up.
btw kissena aquariums is really stepping their game up. stocked up on corals in dedicated tanks w/ great deals on nice frags.

I know what you say about fishtown USA, their prices are a lot higher nowadays than they used to be. On top of that they give you attitude. Place is changing for the worst. Use to be my favorite place.

$2?!?! That is INSANE!

You can buy 5-6 Stage RO filter WITH a 2.5 Gallon storage tank that cuts off the filtration when it is full for under $200 (About $170 or so with shipping). It is pretty easy to install under your kitchen sink.

Best,

Fish town is not hobbyist friendly, they sell you something praying that it dies to keep you coming back to purchase more. I looked at one of their tanks and it seemed like a batch of sick fish for sale, smh! I remember like two years back I bought a coral beauty angel that may have been the culprit that caused at least 5 or 6 of my fish to get sick and die. I would never buy anything from them ever again.

I remember the Fishtown USA that was on 33rd and 3rd eons ago. The owner was still obnoxious, but at least the staff knew their stuff and everything they had was healthy. (Well, as healthy as can be when the latest tech was under gravel filters!)

What went wrong? They used to have a good rep at their Queens store, but I have not heard anything good said about them in a few years now! (Besides low prices and the occasional rarity)

Yea fishtown I mean has the best livestock prices thats about it. They fired the biggest douchenag that worked there so there's one less douchebag over there so service got a little better.

I don't need a lot at a time for my pico and I can get it cheaper. its ok for now. When i get an rodi I want it to be official.

Wish a walmart around here had those. Any one know if valley stream hempstead or garden city has?
