What I did with my clam that I got at last year swap was I filled a insulin needle with lemon juice and shot a little into the aptasia and it never came back
Just do it slow it worked for me
I have a fairly nasty outbreak and I plan on buying a bunch of Berghia Nudibranch before trying the peppermint shrimp and before using any chemicals like Aiptasia-X. If you do decide to go with the peppermint shrimp and after reading up on aiptasia control the general consensus is that the peppermint shrimp (Lysmata wurdemanni) is the shrimp that eats aiptasia.
I want to try the Berghia Nudibranch first because aiptasia is all they eat compared to the peppermint shrimp who may or may not eat the aiptasia, may eat corals, and who may totally disregard the aiptasia if your tank is heavily fed and they have other food sources available to them. Chemicals like Aiptasia-X will be my last resort. Good luck.
inject them w pumps off, joes juice..let it sit a little,,,, if i see one i take care of it asap... just dont let them spread.. maybe kill one a day...
