Fragging Palys

Ive had very great results in taking live rock out and fragging. My question Is I have a huge rock on the base that has about 50heads that I would like to frag the problem is by removing that rock I would destroy my landscape so is it possible to frag under water, can the toxins kill my fish or other coral?

just place a piece of rubble rock or frag plug next to the palys and they'll eventually grow on it.
