Boy that clam doesn't look like the ones that I saw. I guess a better tank and light does make a difference.

I'm trying to figure out which clam it was, when you purchased it there where just 3 clams in the tank on the rock in middle, one was in the front which looked blue/purple but was washed out somewhat and 2 others in the back. One in the back was purple and black and the other was just dark. Which one did you get?

Looking at it now I wish I would have purchased one, the only thing is that the size was small and you need to feed it alot and I hardly feed my tank as it is.

Spykes,

RK was saying the same thing -:)

Yeah I got her for a steal, but I also sold $1200 of equipment and drove 8 hours in a day for Bill upstate, so, I am glad I got a break on her.

Michael, I picked up the one that was in the back - it was the least washed out. By the way, that picture was taken 2 days after I got it. First day deep in the tank (2.5 feet away from light) and second day in a cup with reef-snow phytoplankton - I plan on feeding it once a week. I don't have the patience for more that that. It opens wide all day and is really colorful.

Jim, looks like you're off to a good start. I can't wait to see it when all of your 92gal is in there. When it's all transferred over I'll invite myself over for some beers :D and take some good pics of the tank for you.
