keeping frozen food

I have a bunch of rods food mixed up with a number of other frozen foods in a ziplock bag in my freezer. Its a few months old and its all covered in frost and freezer burned. I'm sure its still good to feed but i want to know if there is a way to keep it from getting all frosty in the freezer or does it not matter ?

You need to minimize the amount of air in the bag to reduce freezer burn. Also, when you take it out, try and get it back into the freezer quickly so ice crystal don't begin to form inside the bag.
