So I have this Elephant Ear coral in my tank since my tank been up and running. I started to notice my fish been disappearing. I couldn't put a finger on what could be eating them. I lost 4 cleaner wrasse first. I recently bought a pair of Picasso clown fish and the blacker ice clowns. 1 day i seen long tentacles coming out of the Elephant Ears mouth but didn't think nothing of it. A week later I notice 1 of the Picasso clowns was gone. I search all around and inside the tank for a couple of days and no fish. So today I was fixing my TLF phosban ( for some reason it stops working every other week) and I notice that the Elephant Ear was spitting something out of its mouth. I look closely and saw that it was my missing clown fish! smh. So now the coral is in my sump until somebody buys him.

How big is that ? I have 2 and the biggest expands to 7-8" and the other is a less than half that across and the par I have host in them now for 6 months now. I've seen the coral start cupping like to close up and hte clowns are still in it but they haven't been eaten yet. They even sleep in and on it. I use to supplement feed it with marine market fish not haven't in a long time now.

Mushrooms including the elephant ear take a while to close up when there's food. Not sure how a fish would be caught in them.
