While I was food shopping at the supermarket In the frozen seafood section, I came across this bag of seafood mix with squid, shrimp, scallop, etc..

I wonder... Can I feed that to my fish?
Is it safe?

As long as it is raw, sure.
Ideally you want to keep it frozen (without allowing it to thaw out), you can shred it using a cheese grater and dropping some (then thawed) morsels in your tank to see what your fish like best :)

**it's best to not refreeze fresh food that has already been thawed out.

see those red things, I'm pretty sure thats prossesd fish i think its a mixture of fish put together, they say its crab legs but you can see its dyed. your better off buying all those ingredients raw, so you know what your getting. i have made my own fish food before like that and chopping it all up.

Scallop, clam, octopus, squid, nori sheets to crumble up in the mix, selcon, maybe a little garlic extreme to entice picky eaters.

Also buy some light diffuser(egg crate) and you can cut to size of what bag you're going to store it in and squish the mixture in it to make it form cubes once frozen.

I just made my first batch of my own mix and the fish seemed to LOVE it. I used the food processor to mix up scallops, squid, fish fillet, clams, shrimp and some garlic. Made 2 different medium size zip lock bags (flattened) which should last me acouple of months for a mear $15 (actually its about $7.50 cuz i ate half the quantity of each item...lol )
