Hello

I have a conductivity probe set up on my apex. Does anyone know how to make sense out of this reading? My conductivity is reading 19.3 and PH is 7.81

It did not come with any instructions regarding how to correlate to salinity. Any info is appreciated.

Conductivity probe

Hello Yes I finally got the calibration solution and calibrated the probe according to their recommendations. My Apex is reading a conductivity of 26.2. I have no idea how to interpret this data. Using my refractometer I am reading 1.025. I heard that a conductivity of 35 corresponds to 1.026 using this assumption my specific gravity would be .77( Obviously this does not make sense)

Any help is greatly appreciated.:beer::beer:

Yea, that is ways off. Did you match up the temperature of the calibration solution with your tank? Float the bottle of solution in your sump for like 30 minutes and calibrate it again.

Conductivity Probe

Made sure to have calibration solution same temp as my water. Recalibrated the probe. In solution the probe was reading 34.8 and it was clear that it settled after approximately 3-4 minutes. Conductivity probe is now reading even lower at 18. My salinity using my refractometer is 1.025

I plan on calling Apex on Monday to get some support. This does not make sense.:(

Apex Conductivity Probe

Interesting finding per the recommendation of someone smarter than I, I removed the probe from my overflow and placed it in a cup of tank water. The reading jumped from 19 to 29.8. Does anyone know why my conductivity probe is reading less inside my tank. A cup of tank water is measuring 29.8 but something is causing interference inside the tank. Any ideas?
