Salt Alerts?

Are there any new salt alerts to know about?

What salt is having problems now ? I'm not sure what
I'm going to get next.

i would recomend seachem reef salt. i've been using it for past 6-7 month witha good results ,so far...

I'm thinking of checking out my local Petsmart. I'll see what they have in bucket sizes and then have them price match to their internet price. I stopped at one in Jersey on the way home from work, all they had was the 5 gallon buckets of Coralife:arg: and the 26lb of Oceanic.


If we all agree on one type of salt maybe we could work out a GB. I'm currently using IO but have been thinking of switching to Oceanic.

Oceanic OR DIE!! I swear by the stuff. Don't have any SPS or anything but you SPS keepers I'm surprised that you don't like the stuff, the calcium level is wayyyy high.

I ordered my last bucket of IO from Foster & Smith on sale for like $2? bucks. I like how they don't oversharge on shipping due to weight. I'm in on a F&S group order.

I felt sorry for my truck driver even though he only had to carry them from the street to my front door. But that was 6 buckets of oceanic. I was not home when he delivered, otherwise I'd have given him a big tip.
