[Deep Dive Coral]

Hey everyone im looking for some help with my RBTA. It has split 3 times now and I don't know how to get the extra split RBTA to detatch off the Rock so I can trade or sell or donate. if anyone can help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

You can put a powerhead infront of it and it should move or I've heard you can put ice on its foot

never really had luck with the powerhead as it always ends up moving in the middle of the night. The best luck that I have had is an ice cube to the foot, but the only problem with that is it usually works best if you can take the piece of LR out of the tank. Once it is out I put it in a bucket with tank water, used ice to rub one side of the foot and really slowly worked towards the middle. Once the edges are detached from the rock it is usually pretty easy to get the inside.

ok. Thanks guys. now what if its not so easy to take the Rock out of the tank.

Mine just split for the second time, if you can get the rock out and turn it upside down it falls right off.

I used a credit card and and carefully removed the foot from the rock
