Storing used biopellets?

I am in the middle of a downgrade and I have way to many biopellets in my reactor for the new tank. Is there a way to rinse and store the ones I take out for later use or am I better off just throwing them out? They are vertex biopellets if that matters.

Absolutely. They are just plastic pellets. Rinse them off and put them away. No harm at all.

i would rinse well in ro/di to rid of bacteria so that when you do reuse them, there wont be decaying matter adding to your tank....just my opinion.
