Look into the fathom like I said at the swap. Just because it cost more doesn't mean it's better. Also I don't like the option to change the spektrum of the lights. I want to purchase a light and turn it on. You pay for all the research and development for them to tell you what's best for the corals not rial and error on your part.

Just curious, why are you changing, aside from the cost savings in terms of electric? I have been using T5's for years, with great success. I am a big fan of, if it is not broken, why fix it. By neighbor changed to LED's, I think his tank looked and performed better in terms of growth with his T5's.....
MH run hot and in summer my chiller runs 35% to 40% of the day with 6 bulb
T-5 and three times or four times I've put sps coral in tank color always loose color then die
Oh, you have MHs. Water parameters could also impact your SPS more than the lighting. I should mention
that I mostly have soft corals in my tank, which might contribute to my success. But my BTA is doing very well.
I'm running 2 AI Vegas on my 120 and I'm very happy so far. No heat issues, and I'm only running the whites at 20 percent so far. Very bright and my corals are doing great.
